Estrella Mountain Community College is a small college on the West side of the Phoenix metropolitan area, in Arizona.  We have an active undergraduate research program in several areas, including biology, chemistry and psychology.   EMCC is a part of the Maricopa Community College District and hosts the annual Student Research conference where students from all 10 of our sister colleges come and present their work in a conference type atmosphere.
